Accessibility

We build and test this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.

Testing is both automated and manual. We run automated checks across the site’s main page types at desktop and phone sizes, and we test by keyboard — tabbing through pages the way someone would who does not use a mouse, checking that focus is always visible, that menus and dialogs can be opened and closed, and that nothing traps you.

We are not claiming this site is perfect, because we cannot honestly test everything. Automated tools only catch part of what matters — roughly a third to a half of real accessibility problems. The rest needs people, and we have not yet done a full pass with screen-reader software such as NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver.

Our checkout is hosted by our commerce platform rather than built by us, which limits what we can change there directly. If you hit a barrier during checkout, call us and we will take your order over the phone.

When we find a gap, we fix it and we write down what we fixed. This page gets updated when that changes.

Please tell us. It is the fastest way for us to find problems we have missed, and we treat it as a bug report, not a complaint.
