The size is — any 24×12.00−12 tire fits any 24×12.00−12 rim. But ply rating, tread pattern, and tube compatibility vary. We stock 4P, 6P and 8P. Lower ply for typical residential use; higher ply for slopes, loaded decks, baggers, or commercial-frequency mowing.

A tube-type tire needs a tube; a tubeless one runs fine without, though you can still run a tube inside it for a sidewall patch or low-pressure running.
