4.00-8 Tires

The size is — any 4.00−8 tire fits any 4.00−8 rim. But ply rating, tread pattern, and tube compatibility vary. 4P is the standard at this size for typical use.

If it's in stock and your order is placed by 2 PM ET, it usually goes out the same business day — and within one business day either way. Standard ground delivery to the Eastern half of the country is typically 2–3 business days; West Coast 4–5 days.

Tube type varies tire to tire at this size, so check the Tube row on the tire's own page before you order. A tube-type tire needs a tube; a tubeless one runs fine without, though you can still run a tube inside it for a sidewall patch or low-pressure running.
