About this tire
This is the Deestone Tri Rib (F-2) in 4.00-8, a 4-ply front tire built for small tractors and farm equipment. The three-rib tread runs straight down the center, so it tracks well and steers predictably through dirt and field rows. It's a tube-type tire, and the matching inner tube is included with this purchase.
The 4-ply rating gives you a load capacity of about 340 lbs per tire and a load range of B. Tread depth is 10/32, and the tire is rated for a 8-inch rim. If your current front tires are 2-ply or 4-ply in this size, this 4-ply works as a direct replacement.
One thing to know: a tri-rib front tire is made for steering and tracking, not pulling. Don't put it on a drive axle expecting traction. It does its job up front, where you want the machine to go where you point it. Made in China.
