About this tire
This is the Deestone D401 in 4.00-12, a 4-ply tri-rib F-2 front tire for tractors and farm equipment. The three-rib F-2 pattern is the classic front-steer tread: the ribs dig in just enough to hold a line and keep the front end from drifting under draft load.
It carries 660 lbs at the 4-ply (LR B) rating and runs a deep 14/32 tread, so there's a lot of rib to wear through. This is a tube-type tire and needs a tube inside. If your current front tire is a 2-ply or 4-ply in this size, this is a direct swap.
Deestone is the value line, so you get a working front tire without the premium price. Made in China. Part number DS5115.

Why this tire needs a tube
Tube-type casings don't seal on the rim — the tube holds the air. Cheapest insurance you'll buy. We'll set you up with the right one over the phone — call the shop: 216-202-4802.
