About this tire
The Kenda K502 Terra Trac is a turf tire built for lawn and garden work. In the 24x12.00-12 size at 4-ply (load range B), it carries up to 1,700 lbs at 20 psi, which covers most riding mowers, zero-turns, and light utility machines running a 12-inch rim.
The wide footprint and turf tread spread weight out so you leave fewer marks on grass and packed dirt. It holds up to commercial mowing schedules as well as heavy residential use, so it's a good fit if you run your machine hard through the season.
This is a turf pattern, not a knobby. It's smooth and easy on lawns but won't dig in like an aggressive lug tire would in mud or loose hills. The recommended rim is 12x8.5. Overall diameter runs about 23.7 inches with a section width near 11.3 inches. Kenda builds these in China.
