About this tire
This is the Vredestein V61 in 18x8.50-8, a 6-ply ribbed tire built for steered and trailing positions on lawn tractors, hay tedders, small implements, and other power equipment. The 5-rib deep tread and its distinct rings track straight and clean themselves out instead of packing with mud, so you get steady stability under load.
The nylon carcass is built to take peak loads, and the tread rings add a layer of protection against thorns and stones working their way through. It runs tubeless, which makes mounting simpler than a tube setup. Rated load-range C, so if you are replacing a 2, 4, or 6 ply tire of this size, this one covers it.
This is a ribbed tire, not a knobby. It rolls smooth and holds a line on packed ground and turf, but it is not built for loose dirt or aggressive traction. If you need to dig in or pull through soft, broken terrain, look at a lug tread instead. The country of origin is China.
