About this tire
The Kenda K500 Super Turf is a turf tread built for lawn and garden work, sized 23x8.50-12 in a 6-ply load range C. It carries up to 1445 lbs at 34 PSI, so it holds up under commercial mowing and heavy residential use, not just light weekend duty.
The siped lugs grip without tearing up the grass, and there's more rubber on the contact surface than you'll find on a lot of competitor tires. That helps with puncture resistance and stretches tread life. Kenda builds this tread in both a round-shoulder version for steering positions and a semi-square version for drive wheels, so match the shoulder to where the tire mounts on your machine.
It fits a 12x7.0 rim and runs roughly 22.7 inches in overall diameter at an 8.5-inch section width. This is a turf tire, so it's tuned for traction on grass and is not meant for aggressive off-road or rough terrain use.
