About this tire
The Kenda K500 Super Turf is a turf and lawn/garden tire built for riding mowers and similar machines running 12-inch rims. The 23x9.50-12 size measures about 23.6 inches tall and 9.7 inches wide, and it mounts on a recommended 12x7.0 rim. At 4 ply (load range B) it carries up to 1,375 lbs.
The tread uses siped lugs that grip turf while keeping marks and tearing down. There's more rubber on the contact surface than you'll find on a lot of competing turf tires, which helps with puncture resistance and tread life under commercial or heavy residential mowing. The K500 comes in a round-shoulder version for steering and a semi-square version for drive wheels, so match the tire to its position on the machine.
This is a turf tire, so it's tuned for cutting grass without chewing up the lawn, not for mud or hard off-road traction. If you need an aggressive bar tread, look at a different pattern. Sold individually, brand new and never mounted. Greg buys Kenda direct from the factory.
