About this tire
The Kenda K500 Super Turf is built for lawn and garden work, sized 16x7.50-8 at 4 ply (load range B) with a rated load capacity of 627 lbs. Greg buys Kenda direct, so this is the brand we stock first for mower and small tractor jobs. The siped lugs grip turf while staying gentle on it, which matters if you're cutting customer lawns or a large yard you'd rather not tear up.
There's more rubber meeting the ground than you'll find on a lot of competing turf tires, so the tread holds up to commercial or heavy residential mowing. The K500 comes in a round-shoulder design for steering positions and a semi-square design for drive positions. Check which one your machine calls for before you order.
Overall diameter runs 16.3 in. with a 7.2 in. section width, and it mounts on a recommended 8x5.375 rim. This is a turf tire, so the tread that protects your grass is not built for hard cornering or rough off-road use. For mowers, riding tractors, and go-karts run on turf, it does the job.
