About this tire
This is the Kenda K398A Polar Trac in 16x6.50-8, a winter tread built for snow blowers and snow throwers. The lug pattern is designed to bite into snow and ice, with micro-textured lugs that add grip on packed or slick surfaces. If your machine spins out in deep snow on its stock tires, this is the kind of tread that fixes it.
It fits two-stage snow blowers and other walk-behind winter equipment running an 8-inch rim. This is a 2-ply tire rated load range A, with a load capacity of 415 lbs per tire. Overall diameter is 16.5 inches and section width is 6.5 inches. Run it around 14 psi. The recommended rim width is 5.375 inches (8x5.375).
One thing to be clear about: this is an off-highway tire built for traction in snow, not a smooth ride. The aggressive lugs that dig into ice will feel rough and loud on dry pavement, so use it for winter work, not road travel.
